TERRALOX

Terms of use

Last updated October 14, 2026. Questions: info@terralox.com.

Who are these terms with?

Terralox ("we", "us") operates terralox.com and the programs linked from it. By using them you agree to these terms. When you create an account or buy a plan, you'll be asked to agree by checking a box, and we keep a record of the version you accepted. TerraBrain also has its own terms, which apply when you use it.

Who can use Terralox?

You must be 18 or older. Businesses may use it through a person authorized to accept these terms for them.

Is this professional advice?

No. Programs, maps, reports, calculators and AI answers are general information and decision-support tools. They are not engineering, legal, insurance or financial advice and do not replace an in-person evaluation by a qualified professional, such as a licensed professional engineer. Soil and map data come from public and third-party sources and can be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for decisions you make and for checking results before relying on them.

How do accounts and access work?

Keep your login private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Which programs your account can use is set by your plan, and we turn programs on or off to match it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, is used for abuse, or has an unpaid balance.

How do subscriptions and payments work?

What about my data and uploads?

You keep ownership of what you upload (photos, measurements, notes). You give us permission to store and process it to run the programs for you. Only upload what you have the right to share. See Privacy.

What is not allowed?

Do not share or resell accounts, scrape or automate the programs, get around usage limits or plan access, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service.

Who owns the programs?

The site, software, designs and content belong to Terralox. Feedback you send may be used to improve the programs without obligation to you.

Is there a warranty?

The programs are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy and fitness for a particular purpose.

What is the limit of liability?

To the fullest extent the law allows, Terralox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for property damage, repair costs, lost value or lost profits, arising from use of the programs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.

Do I have any responsibility to you?

Yes. If your misuse of the programs or breach of these terms leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from it, including attorney's fees.

How are disputes handled?

Email us first and allow 30 days to resolve it. If that fails, disputes will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either side may use small-claims court. No class or group actions. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these terms with the subject "Arbitration opt-out". These terms are governed by Oklahoma law, and any permitted court case will be filed in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

Can these terms change?

Yes. The date above shows the current version. We'll give notice of important changes on the site or by email, and account holders may be asked to accept the new version. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
